Marta Pedró

PhD Student
Department of Electronics Engineering
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)

Marta Pedró obtained a Licentiate Degree in Psychology in 2015 from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) specializing in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience; and graduated with a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering specializing in Electronic Systems in 2016 (UAB). The same year she joined the group of Reliability Devices and Circuits (REDEC) within the Electronic Engineering Department (UAB) to obtain her PhD Degree, focusing in Neuromorphic Computing Applications based in RRAM devices.

Her work consists in analyzing RRAM for their implementation as electronic synapses, by doing pulsed characterization, modelling and simulation. Currently, she is studying the adaptation of learning algorithms for their application in a RRAM crossbar array, always looking forward to a biological-inspired approach.

Research interests:

  • RRAM
  • Neuromorphic architectures
  • Bio-inspired learning algorithms
  • Computational Neuroscience
