Dr. Marc Porti

Associate Professor
Department of Electronics Engineering
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)

Marc Porti graduated in Physics from the UAB in 1997 and got the Ph.D. degree in 2003 also from the UAB. Member of the REDEC group, a UAB research group dedicated to reliability and variability of CMOS nanoelectronic devices, emerging devices and circuits.

He is a local PI of the Spanish project (MARAGDA) devoted to develop a design methodology that can efficiently tackle variability and aging in modern nanoscale CMOS technologies.

Research interests:

  • Applications of Scanning Probe Microscopies for the nanoscale electrical analysis of gate oxides and emerging materials for nanoelectronic materials.
  • Variability and reliability of emerging and RRAM devices.
  • New materials as 2D or inkjet materials for Resistive Switching applications.
